The void left when much loved venue Pistol Pete’s food n blues closed its doors is shrinking a little with The Eureka Hotel Geelong running a blues arvo once a month. Starting on Sunday September 1st at 2pm with a cracking lineup (Wayne Jury – solo, The Mcnamarr Project – Duo, & Blue Sunday Blues band) the venue hopes to heal the souls of blues appreciators in Geelong. It’s a fine start. Curiously the Eureka is opposite the old Pistol Pete’s venue and has recently undergone an over-haul and boasts a great room with a state of the art sound system. Expect some great music and some good times ahead.
